San Leandro’s fiber loop provides Internet connectivity to businesses for efficient information flow. Here’s a map of where the fiber loop is located.
Click on the map for a higher resolution map. If your business is along the path of the loop, it may be cost effective for you to connect directly to the fiber. If you’re further away, Wi-Fi may be the best alternative. Want to learn more about getting your business connected?
On the map, you’ll see the blue Phase I loop that’s operational now, and the red Phase II loop extensions that will be operational early in 2015. The schools, parks, and other social and civic resources–some of which are already connected to the fiber loop–are indicated on the map and listed in the key.
What’s not on the map are some of our connected buildings, many of which have office or work space available. If your business has more than one location in town, you may be interested in learning more about connecting multiple sites.
